Refund policy

Last updated: 4th March 2026. At Artsy, every product is custom-printed on demand specifically for you. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Our Policy — The Short Version

✓  Defective or misprinted product → Full replacement or refund

✓  Wrong item delivered → Full replacement or refund

✓  Damaged in transit → Replacement or refund with proof

✗  Wrong size ordered → Not eligible (please check size chart)

✗  Change of mind → Not eligible (custom-printed on demand)

✗  Colour looks different on screen → Not eligible (screen variance is normal)

2. Return Eligibility

Because all Artsy products are custom-printed on demand, we only accept return/refund requests in the following cases:

  • The product has a manufacturing defect or significant printing error
  • The wrong product or design was delivered
  • The product was damaged during transit

We do not accept returns for:

  • Incorrect size selection by the customer (please use our size chart before ordering)
  • Change of mind or personal preference
  • Minor colour variation between screen and print (screens vary in colour calibration)
  • Measurement tolerance of ±0.5 inches (industry standard for garments)

3. Return Timeframe

All eligible return/refund requests must be raised within [7 DAYS] of delivery. Requests raised after this window will not be accepted.

4. How to Raise a Return or Refund Request

Step 1: Email us at [email protected] with subject line: 'Return Request — Order #[ORDER NUMBER]'

Step 2: Include the following in your email:

  • Your order number and registered email address
  • Clear photos of the defective / damaged / incorrect product
  • An unboxing video (strongly recommended — required for transit damage claims)
  • A brief description of the issue

Step 3: Our team will review your request within [2-3 BUSINESS DAYS] and respond with next steps.

5. Refund Process and Timing

Once your return/refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method

Credit/Debit card refunds: [5-7 BUSINESS DAYS]

UPI/Wallet refunds: [2-3 BUSINESS DAYS]

Net banking refunds: [5-7 BUSINESS DAYS]

You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.

6. Replacement / Exchange

In eligible cases, we offer a free replacement of the same product. Please note:

  • Replacements are for the same design, size, and colour — no design changes
  • If the exact product is unavailable, a full refund will be issued instead
  • Exchanges for a different size due to customer error are not offered — a new order must be placed at full price

7. Damaged in Transit — Special Note

If your product arrives visibly damaged, please:

  • Do not discard the packaging — we may need photos of it
  • Record an unboxing video before opening — this is critical for transit damage claims
  • Contact us within 7 days with your unboxing video and damage photos

Without an unboxing video, transit damage claims cannot be processed. We strongly recommend recording your unboxing for every order.

8. Non-Returnable Items

The following are strictly non-returnable:

  • Products that have been worn, washed, or altered in any way
  • Products returned without prior approval from our team
  • Products with damage caused by the customer after delivery
  • Orders with incorrect addresses provided by the customer

9. Return Shipping Costs

For eligible returns (defective, wrong, or damaged products):

  • Artsy will bear the return shipping cost
  • We will arrange a pickup from your address or provide a prepaid return label

For ineligible return requests: return shipping is entirely the customer's responsibility and we will not issue a refund for the original order.
